                             Delhi-Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur-Delhi

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT BY FLIGHT – TRANSFER TO HOTEL


After an overnight flight from Israel you will arrive at Delhi airport. On Arrival you will meet, greet and assist by our Representative and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 2 : FULL DAY DELHI SIGHTSEEING


The morning begins with refreshing breakfast. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and ready to show you the best of Old and New Delhi. The tour will start with Old Delhi where you will visit the Jama Mosque- the largest mosque of India. In continuation we take a Rickshaw ride (Pedi cabs) through the 300 year’s old Chandni Chowk bazaar to explore the historical lanes of Old Delhi and Asia’s largest spice market.

Later visit RED FORT. The Red sandstone walls of the massive Red Fort (Lal Qila) rise 33-m above the clamour of Old Delhi as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors. The walls, built in 1638, were designed to keep out invaders, now they mainly keep out the
noise and confusion of the city. The main gate, Lahore Gate, is one of the emotional and symbolic focal points of the modern Indian nation and attracts a major crowd on each Independence Day. At the end of the rickshaw ride we move on to Raj Ghat, the memorial of father of the nation
Mahatma Gandhi. It is a peaceful place with beautiful gardens.

Later we head to British Delhi (New Delhi), drive pass the official home of President of India (Rashtrapati Bhavan) and India’s highest legislative body the parliament building. Also visit the Iconic India gate, a memorial to 90,000 Indian soldiers who died during World War 1.

Then we will visit QUTUB MINAR, a soaring 72.5 meter high tower of victory, built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din-Aibak immediately after the defeat of the Delhi’s last Hindu kingdom.

We will also visit the LOTUS TEMPLE- Bahai house of worship-this temple is built in the shapeof the lotus flower and is the last of seven Bahai’s temples built around the world. We will finish the day by walking around the street of Rajpath where we will see the British architecture President House, Parliament and India gate.

Then We will return to Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 03 : DELHI-AGRA (220 KMS / 03-04 HOURS DRIVE)


Third day after delicious breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Agra –Home to Taj Mahal.

Once you arrive, check in at the hotel in Agra. Later afternoon visit Mehtab Bagh also called Moonlit garden, across the river which stretches over 950 square feet and is aligned perfectly with the Taj Mahal. When you stand within the garden you find mesmerising view of the temple of love, almost like a crowning jewel, framed by the trees and hedges that run up to the edges of the river bank. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

DAY 04 : FULL DAY IN AGRA


Wake up early, at this time the city is on peace no traffic, no honking, actually feel like different India. Board horse cart, a perfect transport to reach TAJ MAHAL-The saga of love. The horse hooves, chirping of the birds and the peace of the morning make it a perfect start of the day. Time has come to remove the vein from the face of Taj Mahal, literally means the crown of the place, the tomb of Mumtaj Mahal, the Love of fifth Mughal Emperor Shahjahan life. Located on the banks of river Yamuna, understand about the optical tricks have used in construction of the Taj Mahal and on its minarets, appreciate the very fine art work of pietra dura done by craftsman on the marble and beautiful garden and it’s fountain’s provide the perfect setting to Taj Mahal.

Return to the hotel for our delicious Indian Breakfast and a nice cup of hot masala chai (Indian Tea).

After relax you will do tour of Mughal town and visit the Red sand stone AGRA FORT.

Agra fort- A symbol of Power, Strength and resilience. One has to pass through many reinforce gates to enter the fort. Inside the fort you will visit Jahangir palace, beautiful carvings on the walls and pillars. The fort provides perfect view of the Taj Mahal. Visit Local Shopping places and Market area. Back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 05 : AGRA-JAIPUR (280 KMS / 05-06 HOURS DRIVE)


After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Jaipur.

Later we drive 280 Kms and takes around 6 hours to reach Jaipur, popularly known as Pink city of India and Gateway to the Rajasthan. But before we arrive we stop to visit small sleepy town Fatehpur Sikri- once served as the capital of the Mughal Empire. The emperor Akbar decided to found a new city here when he was fresh from the victory of Gujarat and the place was aptly name a city of victory Fatehpur. The feelings which one gets here is one of Grandeur. Akbar built it not just to impress the world with his power and riches his real purpose was to bind together the farm flung region of his vast empire with the thread of unity. Here beauty of the building is breath-taking.

Enroute again stop to visit Abhaneri Step wells. Continue our drive to Jaipur.

DAY 06 : JAIPUR CITY TOUR


After breakfast, you will be collected by your guide and taken to Amber fort.

Amber fort 11 Kms outside of Jaipur the former medieval capital, built by Raja Man Singh the commander of Rajput Akbar army in 1592. This landmark is a splendid representation of Rajput architecture. Enjoy your drive up to the fort passing through some of the oldest house and temple of the old city.

After that thrilling ride you’ll steady your feet and be awestruck by the marvellous sight before you, marble palaces, mosaics, paintings, mirror works, carvings, mural walls and engravings. When touring Amber fort don’t forget to visit 17 century Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), a chamber decorated with an array of mirrors on the walls and ceiling. The zenana courtyard, is a place you must see. It is a private women’s residence designed with one corridor but different rooms so that the Maharaja (King) could visit the wife or concubines of his choice, at his pleasure without the others knowing.

After visiting Amer fort, return to the city En route stop for the picture at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), is a five story high palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The four floor stay under the water it is only the fifth floor which is visible.

Later Visit the glorious City Palace; when you visit you get a feel for the wealth of Jaipur’s royal family one of the richest in India. for a beautiful display of intricate craftsmanship see the superb peacock gate which shows off spectacular and bright peacock images at the entrance that will make you go WOW! Visit one of the best museums in India with an art gallery and exhibits of royal costumes and medieval Indian armaments. Admire an exclusive collection of regal costumes and marvellous shawls like the pashmina. In the middle of the place complex stands a pink and white marble paved gallery where the Maharaja conferred with their ministers called the Diwan-I-Khas (Hall of private audience). It is here that you will find what are considered to be the biggest silver object on earth; these are two mammoth silver vessels 1.6 m tall.

Afterwards you visit Jantar mantar a gigantic solar observatory with a brilliant display of Indian architecture that shows the scientific expertise that existed in medieval India. It is made up of some 14 most important geometric devices which track the location of stars, measure time, predict eclipses, as well as earth’s orbit around the sun. It will be a surprise to you when you see that these instruments which the ancient people made of stone can carry out the same measurements of time and the sun’s movements as our modern day technology.

Drive past Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) was built so that the royal ladies could view the Royal processions without anyone seeing them. If you have ever seen a giant beehive than that gives you an idea of the look of this five storey building. The Hawa Mahal is beautifully decorated with lattice work, has some 953 tiny windows (Jharokhas).

DAY 07 : JAIPUR TO DELHI (280 KMS / APPX 5-6 HRS DRIVE)


Post Breakfast visit GALTA JI MONKEY TEMPLE Galta Ji is a large Hindu temple complex that lies 10km to the east of Jaipur. These temples are a popular tourist attraction as they are home to a large colony of monkeys and this has given rise to the common name of the complex, the monkey temple. Galta Ji Jaipur is a unique Hindu temple as it is centered on a natural spring that has been channeled to fill seven large pools. In these pools pilgrims come to bath away their sins while, at quiet moments, the playful monkeys can be found swimming in the holy waters. The monkeys are of two breeds rhesus macaque and langur monkeys and both are completely unafraid of tourists, so expect to be mobbed if brave enough to feed them. The Galta Ji Jaipur temple is slightly off the common tourist trail but it makes for a pleasant half day excursion from Jaipur, while the short hike and high vantage point of the sun temple is the place to watch sunset.

After sightseeing drive back to Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 08 : DEPARTURE TRANSFER TO DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT


After Healthy breakfast departure transfer to board flight for onwards Journey.

It’s time to say good bye to all new friends who make during this period. Tour Ends with Sweet Memories.
